Biography:
Dante Cosmo DeCicco, of Bonita Springs, Florida and Yonkers New York, passed away on June 27, 2019. Dante was born on March 14, 1943 in Yonkers to the late Joseph and Maria DiSanto DeCicco. Beloved father of Nicholas (Tricia) and Michael John (Kim) DeCicco.Adored PopPop of Kathryn, Donovan, James, Julianna and Nicholas, who were the loves of his life. Dear brother of Bobby, Lucy and Raymond. Loving and devoted partner of Joan Vassari. He was a 1961 graduate of Yonkers High School and then pursued his education at Westchester Community College and R.C.A. Institute for Computer Technology. Dante served in the Army National Guard for 6 years where he was honorably discharged as a Sergeant E5 in 1970. Mr. DeCicco worked for IBM and New York Telephone in White Plains from 1965 – 1982 and then was employed by AT&T as a plant technical engineer retiring in 1999. Arrangements entrusted to FLOWER FUNERAL HOME INC., 714 Yonkers Ave with visitation Sunday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass Monday 9:45 am at St. John the Baptist Church with entombment to follow at Ferncliff Cemetery.
